Event Photography - Saint Patrick's Weekend

A busy busy weekend for Saint Patrick's this year.

I had initially planned to take it easy and go back to the west coast to shoot some night long exposures but that all changed with a message on Friday evening asking would I be interested in shooting a fashion show for an article by Mystylemykey.

With my "take every chance" mentality for the year I said yes! There was no pay but it was for full photo credit in a county newspaper with a weekly circulation of 12,000+.

Here are a few from the night.

Next on the list for the weekend was the Pakie Ryan Memorial Event. An amazing 2,400 participants took part in a 5k fun run/walk, 10k run, 10m run, 30k cycle and 50k cycle. Lots of images over on my facebook but here is a snap shot of the day.

After this I took off in search of Green!

Last thing for the weekend was the Saint Patrick's Day Parade.

That brings Saint Patrick's Weekend to a finish. Some serious editing time went in and some serious shooting time. Was a great weekend tho and looking forward to being as busy soon again.
