Julie & Barry | Cliffs of Moher | Dromoland Castle Elopement | Ireland Wedding Photographer

Julie & Barry traveled from Australia to have an Irish Elopement. On a fresh November morning they had their special day and incorporated the Irish Landscape, with a trip to the Cliffs of Moher for a pre wedding shoot and an Irish Castle, having their ceremony on the grounds of Dromoland Castle.

The day couldn't have been more Irish and we certainly gave them an Irish welcome. Flowers were created by the Dromoland Castle garden team and I drove them to the Cliffs of Moher. Martin from Guerins Path came up from the farm to let us onto his land so we could use their beautiful vantage point of the Cliffs. Having battled the cold and strong wind on the Cliffs we made an emergency stop on the way back to Dromoland Castle at Julie's hairdressers house, where she had the fire lighting and the kettle on to do some repairs before their ceremony.

To complete their day we had a beautiful ceremony performed by Coastal Ceremonies which involved their on vows, a hand fastening ceremony using the leads from the puppies at home in Oz and a toast of their favourite red wine. Music was performed by Elaine Hogan on harp in the beautiful surrounds of the Walled Garden in Dromoland Castle all the time being carefully watched but the wonderful nature of Ireland.
