I'm delighted to announce an addition to our wedding packages - the USB/Album Box. Situated between my digital/USB and album packages it gives you a USB (with all your edited, high resolution wedding photos) and a 9 x 6 inch landscape photobook album of your selected wedding photos in a leatherette bound presentation box. For those who do not want a full size album but realise that photos on USBs are often left unprinted this is, I think, the perfect package!
The outer box also comes in a timber finish with a timber USB. Here are some photos of the USB/Album Box:

Fiona and Noel although now based in Ennis headed to Oranmore and Galway city, Fiona's neck of the woods, for their ceremony and reception. Now, I'm a proud Clareman but venturing outside the Banner does have its benefits in offering new photo opportunities and landscapes! For the bridal party shots we headed to the sea at Oranmore Castle with the bay in the background, made a quick stop at the iconic Claddagh area of Galway city and finally in the grounds of the Ardilaun hotel.
Church : Immaculate Conception, Oranmore. Reception : The Ardilaun hotel, Galway city. Here's a look at their day: Wedding albums are back in popularity and I'm delighted to see photos being printed again - there for families and friends to enjoy!
Kelly and Damien had an intimate civil wedding ceremony followed by a reception at Dromoland Castle, Co. Clare. It was a family day with some touches of Christmas in the middle of December 2014. The photos were done in the ground of Dromoland Castle, in particular it's 18th century walled gardens and castle features. It was a grey day but that only seemed to make the autumn/winter hues more vibrant and with Kelly warm and comfortable in her stole we had a lovely walk around for photos. Here's a look at some of the images from the day..
Ceremony: St Camillus Registry Office, Limerick City. Reception: Dromoland Castle, Dromoland, Co. Clare Niamh and Garrett were my first truly urban wedding, no coast or woods in sight (albeit it urban by Irish standards), in the county town of Ennis, Co. Clare. The wedding was right in the heart of the town in Ennis' primary church, the Cathedral, and the reception in the Old Ground Hotel, a short walk across the road. I was spoilt photo-wise; the Cathedral is beautiful with it's large alter, high ceiling and grand pillars, the hotel has a beautiful garden area and I had found a few alternative photo locations within walking distance which Niamh and Garrett were happy to try! Church : St Peter & Paul Cathedral, Ennis, Co. Clare Reception : The Old Ground Hotel, Ennis, Co. Clare Flowers : The Flower Den, Ennis, Co. Clare Hair : Marie at Peter Mark Hair, Ennis, Co. Clare Make-up : Mandy O'Loughlin Make-up, Castletroy, Limerick city. Dress : Tracy Bridal, Galway City. Shoes : Nozomi Shoes, Ennis, Co. Clare Suits : Patrick Bourke, Ennis, Co. Clare. Niamh & Garrett are keeping the photos for themselves but are happy to share this one of them by Eva Muna's mural in Ennis. Thanks to Niamh and Garrett for a great day and for trying out the photo spots I had in mind!
Gary Lyndsey and Tomasz know how to party! We had a great engagement shoot in Dromoland Castle (blog post here) where I heard all about their plans for the big day. With Tomasz being from Poland I was looking forward to seeing some of these traditions blended in with a traditional Irish wedding. They did not disappoint, from the religious traditions at the house in the morning to the compulsory shot of Polish vodka after dinner and last but not least the games with the DJ!

Ailish and Jonathan were two of the most relaxed people I have met on a wedding day to date. The moment I met them months before hand to chat about packages I knew this day was going to be fun. This became very evident when they suggested Ailwee Caves for their engagement shoot, which you can see some highlights from here.
One thing Ailish made clear was that she really wanted lots of images. This gave us a busy day ahead. I arrived back to The Falls Hotel, Ennistymon and the plan for the day was Ballyvaughan, Doolin, The Falls :) Lots of locations and lots of fun. Church : Saint John The Baptist's Church, Ballyvaughan Venue : The Falls Hotel, Ennistymon, Co. Clare Flowers : Art of Blooming Hair : Mimi's Ennistymon Make-up : Keane for Beauty Dress : Belladonna Bridal Jewelery & Head Piece : Beads N Bling by Linda Cake : Woodview Cakes, Galway Suits : Corless Formalwear Here is a little insight into how the day went for us. Emma and Gerard traveled a long way for their wedding, both Clare natives, they traveled "home" from New Zealand to join family and friends for their wedding day.
Emma and Gerard had both the ceremony and reception in the Falls Hotel Ennistymon. This allowed us a little extra time to travel back to the coast to capture some images. Given that it was late December, every second counted with our fight against the light (and the wind/rain!). Emma and Gerard were both so relaxed on the day that Emma ended up in flip flops on the rocks in Clahane and left them on for the rest of the day :) Here is a little insight into how the day went. Gary Collins Photography's first print ad for our wedding photography! Look out for this in the wedding supplements of The Clare People and The Clare Champion (February 2015).
Trisha & Andy had a very clear mindset on how they wanted the day to go. They went with a small church which has a history in Trisha's family and only immediate family were invited for the ceremony.
Wanting to keep everything family orientated, Andy's uncle took the pictures at the church, with myself joining the couple after to capture the rest of the celebrations. Trisha and Andy would have a very similar style to myself and when they told me the wedding venue was Hotel Doolin I was delighted as it meant I was able to get back the coast for wedding images :) Venue : Hotel Doolin, Doolin, Co, Clare Flowers : Flower Mill, O'Callaghan Mills, Co. Clare Cake : Bakeyousweet, Ennis, Co. Clare Here is a little insight into how the day went. |
